Sunnyside Manor is a 105,000 square foot, two story Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing facility. The facility contains 72 Assisted Living units, 15 Dementia units and a 60 bed Skilled Nursing facility. Although the three areas of care are located within one facility, they are each separated by discrete control points. However, the support spaces, located in the basement, are able to access each area above without crossing through adjacent spaces. Additionally, each area of care contains private living and dining areas. Recognizing that this facility is a home for approximately 147 people, the exterior was designed with traditional residential materials, including a sloped shingle roof, horizontal and “cedar” shake siding and stone veneer.
